Oakbrook for Orphans 5K Fun Run

Have some fun while supporting Oakbrook's Honduras mission trip on Saturday, March 2, as we host the inaugural Oakbrook for Orphans 5K Fun Run. This combination road and trail race is open to all participants, from seasoned runners to first timers, who want to get some fresh air and exercise. No matter how fast you run or walk, you will have a chance to win some cool prizes during our raffle ticket drawing.

Event Schedule:

• 8:00-8:45am - Runner check-in and late registration
• 8:55am - National Anthem
• 9:00am 5K Fun Run race start

Door prizes will be randomly selected and announced from 9:45-10:30am. You must be present to win.

The Oakbrook For Orphans 5K will take place rain or shine.

Registration closes Thursday Feb. 28th at 11:59pm.

Liability Waiver for Oakbrook for Orphans 5K

I know that running and walking in a competition is a strenuous and potentially hazardous

activity. I understand and assume all risks associated with participating in the Oakbrook for

Orphans 5K including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, race officials,

volunteers, spectators, sponsors or race directors or any of their staff or bystanders, the

effects of the weather, including snow, ice, rain, heat and/or humidity, traffic, road and surface

conditions, all risks being known and anticipated by me.

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration your accepting my entry,

I, for myself, my heirs, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Oakbrook

Preparatory School, Rice Bowls, Sponsors, the employees, officers, agents and directors of

these organizations, and any other organization or individual associated with this event and

representatives before, during and after the event, from all claims or liabilities of any kind, but

not limited to death, personal injury or property damage arising out of my participation in the

Oakbrook for Orphans 5K, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or

carelessness on the part of the person named in this waiver.

I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of

injury, accident, and/or illness prior, during or after the race resulting from my participation in

the event.

I grant permission to all the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or

any other record of the event.
